The service

Catholic Funeral Program provides self-service planning, writing-assistance, collaboration, design, optional memorial sharing, preview, and PDF-generation tools for funeral booklets and selected memorial print pieces. It is independent and is not affiliated with or approved by the USCCB, ICEL, a diocese, parish, or other Church authority. It does not provide pastoral, canonical, legal, physical printing, shipping, funeral-directing, or funeral-home ERP services.

Parish approval is required

Catholic funeral practice and local policy vary. Every service type, date, reading, minister, music choice, symbol, Words of Remembrance, and printed worship-aid text must be confirmed with the responsible parish or presider. The product’s structure and warnings are planning aids, not an approval.

Copyright and authorized content

You may upload, paste, submit, or approve only material you are authorized to use. The product prints liturgical section headings, Scripture references, names, song titles, and original memorial content. Site-supplied full readings appear only when the operator has installed an exact, privately pinned official U.S. Lectionary corpus under written authorization covering this digital funeral-program service. A parish or presider may instead supply service-specific reading text, but the organizer must confirm permission before it prints and must include every required source notice. Do not paste copyrighted Lectionary text, ritual prayers, hymn lyrics, sheet music, professional photographs, or other protected material unless the relevant rights holder has authorized that use.

AI-assisted text

Generated text is a draft, may contain errors, and must be reviewed. You are responsible for checking names, dates, relationships, facts, tone, theology, and suitability. The writing tools may not be used to fabricate facts, impersonate clergy, or present generated text as official ritual or Church-approved content.

Price and access

The Single Program is $39 USD, paid once for one project, and includes the available booklet and selected memorial-print PDF downloads plus corrections for 30 days. The Professional Workspace is $59 USD per month and includes unlimited program projects while subscription access is active. Printing, shipping, licensed third-party text, parish fees, and human proofreading are not included. Taxes, if required and shown by Stripe, may be additional.

Optional memorial sharing

Creating a memorial share page is optional and deliberate. The page is unlisted and marked noindex, but possession of its bearer link grants read access. You are responsible for deciding what information is suitable to share and for obtaining permission for photographs and other content. The organizer may revoke the page, and it expires with the associated project’s applicable retention window. Do not rely on it as permanent hosting or as a confidential medical, legal, or family record.

Professional Workspace billing

The Professional Workspace renews monthly until canceled. The account owner can manage billing and cancellation in the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless Stripe states otherwise. If a renewal payment fails, a seven-day recovery grace period allows the account owner to update the payment method before clean downloads pause. Workspace project content is retained for 90 days after access ends and may be deleted sooner on request.

Print-quality guarantee and refunds

Test one printed copy before ordering or producing a full quantity. If a generated file does not print correctly, contact support promptly with the paper size, printer or print-shop details, and a description of the defect. If we cannot fix a product-caused print defect promptly, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. The guarantee does not cover typographical or factual errors entered or approved by the user, parish decisions, unauthorized content, a printer’s color variation, or failure to follow the provided print settings.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt unauthorized access, probe or overload the service, upload malware, bypass payment, scrape private drafts, use another person’s content without permission, or submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing material. Access may be limited or revoked to protect users and the service.

Availability and liability

We work to keep saved drafts, workspaces, and downloads available, but outages and provider failures can occur. Keep a local copy of final PDFs and do not wait until the final printing minute. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee of parish acceptance, search ranking, revenue, uninterrupted availability, or suitability for every circumstance. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected project or subscription period, except where law does not permit that limitation.
