Plan without pretending to replace your parish

Catholic funeral practice is structured around the Vigil, the central Funeral Liturgy, and the Rite of Committal, while pastoral and diocesan decisions remain local. The planner explains those categories, offers Scripture references and brief orientation summaries, and marks family preferences as pending until the parish confirms them.

  • Vigil, Funeral Liturgy, and Committal planning
  • Funeral Mass, Funeral Liturgy Outside Mass, Memorial Mass, or “not sure”
  • Body, cremated remains, no-remains, and special-circumstance safeguards
  • Parish contact and confirmation status

Keep the practical and personal work together

Alongside the liturgy choices, organize participants, reception information, an obituary, acknowledgments, and memories. A music director can work with the distinct music placements for the selected rite instead of receiving a single generic “song” field. Optional writing assistance works only from facts you provide and never edits official ritual text.

03

Private by default

Draft links remain private and photos are stored outside normal public access. An optional memorial share page is created only when the organizer deliberately enables it; the page is unlisted, marked noindex, opened through a bearer link, revocable, and tied to the project’s retention window. Unpaid drafts are scheduled for deletion after 30 days of inactivity.

Questions

What families ask

Do I need an account?

Not for a family Single Program. The browser receives a private resume link, and you can optionally email yourself a new link. Parish and coordinator workspaces use verified email access so recurring projects can stay together.

Can I leave choices undecided?

Yes. “Not sure” and parish-question fields are built into the flow.

Does the planner decide the final Catholic funeral order?

No. It organizes family preferences and collaboration. The parish or presider confirms the rite, ministers, readings, music, ritual adaptations, and final order before printing.

How long is a draft kept?

Unpaid family drafts are scheduled for deletion after 30 days of inactivity. A Single Program includes document access and corrections for 30 days. Professional Workspace projects remain available while access is active and are scheduled for deletion 90 days after access ends. Minimal payment records may be kept as legally required.
